We are looking for an individual who can maximize customer satisfaction to ensure that the interior of apartments and exterior of buildings and grounds are maintained in a safe and clean manner, in accordance with First Realty Management and site standards and policies.
Job Functions:
- Prepares vacant units by repairing, refurbishing, and cleaning (as needed) in accordance with site checklists and turnover schedules and First Realty Management standards.
- Assumes on-call responsibilities for lost keys and emergencies such as plumbing problems, electrical, etc., shared with others where applicable.
- Responds to daily emergency and routine service work orders in a professional and timely manner.
- Maintains the appearance of the site by collecting and discarding refuse from common areas and throughout the site on a daily basis.
- Cleaning of interior buildings and grounds as needed
- Performs snow removal by shoveling, salt/sanding, and operating and maintaining appropriate equipment.
- Performs preventative maintenance schedule per site requirements.
- Participates in annual apartment inspections as assigned.
Other Job Functions
- Works overtime as required for snow removal.
- Maintains a clean and well-groomed appearance, wears company-issued uniforms.
- Is courteous to residents at all times.
Requirements
the Skills amp; Abilities:
- Regular scheduled hours: 40 hours per week, Tuesday - Saturday.
- Must have basic knowledge of Microsoft 365 and additional technology resources.
- Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC systems, carpentry and general repair and maintenance duties.
- Ability to get to the site in a timely manner to respond to emergencies.
- Ability to read product instructions and safety materials.
- Ability to fill out and complete work orders accurately
- Ability to communicate effectively with site staff and residents.
- Ability to follow directions.
- Ability to operate snow equipment, such as trucks, skid loaders, snow blowers safely and effectively.
- Ability to safely operate power tools, such as saws and drills.
- Must pass First Realty Management’s pre-employment physical prior to start of work
Level of Education/Training/License:
Valid drivers license, per site requirements
Experience:
Previous general maintenance or similar experience preferred.
