Job Description

At Anvyl we are on a mission to make bringing products to life easier. We believe everyone should be able to make the physical products they want to see in the world and no one should be left out because finding suppliers, scaling up production or paying for goods is too hard. So we’re building software where brands manage suppliers, oversee production, and track in-depth product data from procurement to delivery of inbound goods. It saves hours a day of manual work, reduces supply chain costs, and provides actionable data on supplier activity throughout sourcing, production, and the product lifecycle. These tools to fuel and empower the most important relationships you have - the ones with your suppliers.

The Director, People is an operations-focused individual who will scale Anvyl’s team, and overall culture. Our ideal candidate will understand the end to end aspects of talent and be able to scale the business. You will have a strong sense of culture and drive our vision and mission forward with our current and future team, and will report directly to the CEO.


Responsibilities
  • Grow the People function and the required team to scale the business
  • Own 80%+ of the People Teams Strategy and Vision, execute OKR planning and enforcement throughout the department and across teams
  • Be a trusted advisor in all sensitive People areas such as employee relations, investigations, leaves of absences, and compensation
  • Oversee Learning and Development for the org, execution of building out best in class onboarding and training for internal teams
    • Resource outside vendors and programs for external L+D
  • Partner with leadership to develop manager and team trainings focused on development, culture, and career progression
  • Develop and define internal organizational policies that support employees well being, growth and engagement; and ensure compliance
  • Oversee performance management and coach managers on succession planning, talent reviews, feedback and terminations
  • Create, Implement and manage global People Policies
  • Plan, implement, and manage administration of all benefit plans

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in a people operations role
  • Experience building out a people /HR function or process
  • Experience recruiting for roles at all levels in an org, across many departments
  • People-centric training / influence - we want to think about long term value for employees
  • Exposure to, or direct involvement in, broader people operations
