Job Description

Recycling Management Resources (RMR) is a plant-based recycling group focused on maximizing its client’s revenue generation from recyclable paper. The salary range for this position is 70K - 100K based on experience. This position will primarily cover territory in New Jersey and Delaware with some travel to Richmond, Virginia. Office will be based in Barrington, New Jersey

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Regional Sales Representative position is to achieve the revenue and profit plans/goals of an assigned sales territory. The position will include responsibility for selling all of Recycling Management Resources’ services. These services include: Waste amp; Recycling Management, Roll Cutting, Book Recycling, Inventory Cleanouts, Secure Shredding and Logistics amp; Support.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES amp; RESPONSIBILTIES:

  • Develops an effective working relationship with Plant Manager, Corporate Accounting, Cross-functional teams, Clients and Suppliers: to ensure finished goods inventory is kept at safe levels, upgrading materials for maximum profitability and to ensure a high level of supplier and customer satisfaction is achieved
  • Develop and grow territory by effective and efficient prospecting and cold calling to increase Clients and meet target goals
  • Develops effective solutions and align strategies to drive high volumes and identifies opportunities to offer additional solutions/products to increase client activities within your area
  • Perform cost-benefit and needs analysis of existing/potential clients to meet their needs
  • Expedite the resolution of client problems and complaints to maximize satisfaction
  • Complies and manages all corporate sales and procurement initiatives to fulfil margin goals
  • Supervises and directs all procurements and sales: processes amp; procedures, daily activities of sales and procurement staff at the area level.
  • Manages area sales budgets, reports, and financial data to insure area margin and volume goals are met. Compiles client and supplier reporting requirements as needed for management review.

Travel Demands: Anticipated travel is approximately 80% (Plant locations: Barrington, New Jersey / Wilmington Delaware /Richmond, Virginia) Office will be based in New Jersey.

QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years outside sales experience required
  • Ability to travel up to 50% overnight
  • Self-motivated

  • Establishing/maintaining effective relationships
  • Strong organizational/time management skills
  • Demonstrated excellent communication
  • Current/Valid Driver's License

COMPUTER/TECHNICAL SKILLS:

  • Must be proficient in a variety of computer software applications, including advanced technical skills in Excel, Word, Outlook, Power Point and CRM.
