Position Overview:
The position’s main responsibilities will be to provide support to the VP of Capital Markets. The Capital Markets Analyst will review loan requests, sales and any exceptions requests by way of communicating cooperatively and effectively with the Underwriting team.
Requirements
Qualifications:

- College degree required - generally in Business, Finance, or related field
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience working in Finance, preferably with real estate background
- Positive attitude, high energy, extremely organized, excellent communication skills and self-motivated
- Must take initiative and be solution oriented
- Attention to detail coupled with high demands
Responsibilities:
- Monitor Loan Reviews (Multi-Family, Large Loans, New Construction)
- Review escalated loan requests from the Underwriting team for loans that require approvals
- Compile and analyze borrower data and documentation
- Prepare asset summary reports
- Submit and track loan previews with capital partners per the VP of Capital Markets
- Act as a liaison between the Underwriting team and Capital Partners to address questions and recommend structural changes to loans
- Stay on top of market developments including new products, deal issuance, pricing, structure, leverage, etc.
- Prepare Ad-hoc data analysis/reporting
- Monitor loan performance
