BURNCO is looking to add a skilled Operations Manager to our Milliken, Colorado team. Someone who drives change and takes pride in their high-quality workmanship and their ability to get things done effectively and timely. In this position you will lead the area management team including plant maintenance for the Colorado Ready-Mix division. Expected Results and Achievements
- Provide leadership and direction to operations staff regarding production and delivery of ready mixed concrete.
- Create safety culture and accountability
- Work with GM to improve productivity through Pamp;L and other reporting tools
- Train, mentor and motivate management team
- Create a working culture with other departments focusing on quality, service, and safety.
- Monitor industry trends and best practices - recommends strategic changes in ready mix productivity and efficiencies, responsible for the implementation and success of approved changes
- Oversee business plans and manage personnel, financial and material resources
- Responsible for capital projects, production planning and inventory
- Work with Procurement on vendor preferred pricing and bulk pricing
- Resolve barriers to productivity, performance, and customer satisfaction
- Monitor raw materials both internal and external supply to plant locations
- Build strategic relationships with all stakeholders including sales, dispatch, operations, fleet, quality control, procurement, safety, and human resources.
- Prepare related reports and presentations of proposals, results, etc.
- Conduct monthly staff meetings and Pamp;L reviews with GM.
- Other duties as assigned

Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher
- 10+ years of related industry experience
- Experience leading business enterprises with broad scope of responsibility that includes safety, operations and team building expertise
Travel Requirement
- 75% - includes local and national
Rate or Range: $106,000-$126,000
Bonus Eligibility: 20% of base salary potential in the Short-Term Incentive Program (STIP)
