SUMMARY

Proficio is experiencing amazing growth and seeking a Strategic Partnership Manager. The Strategic Partnership Manager will be responsible for developing all new resell and referral partnerships. A successful Strategic Partnership Manager will have existing relationships with partners within the industry and a passion for developing new partnerships.

Leverage your experience with partner management as well as reselling, prospecting, and recruitment. Work closely with partners to create joint marketing, promotional, and instructional programs to enable the delivery of customer-focused solutions and drive profitability.

Responsibilities

  • Recruit:
    • Identify, recruit and on-board new resell and referral partners.
    • Develop a repeatable process for recruiting and a target partner profile
    • Create a pipeline of target partner accounts for recruitment
    • Identify and track cost to recruit partners
  • Develop:
    • Actively engage all partners to drive opportunity generation through tech touches, remote/onsite meetings, and events.
    • Categorize and identify inactive partners and create actionable plans and timelines to re-engage.
    • Host recurring training sessions with partners on Proficio’s services
    • Communicate up-to-date information about new products and enhancements to partners.
    • Coordinate account-mapping sessions between partners and Proficio Sales Reps.
    • Manage Proficio’s Partner Portal
    • Deliver sales presentations and attend sales meetings and partner conferences.
    • Assist in partner marketing activities such as trade shows, campaigns and other promotional activities.
    • Manage relationships with our existing vendors and encourage opportunities through those relationships.
  • Manage:
    • Collaborate with Marketing on partner-specific assets and events
    • Evaluate partner sales performance and recommend improvements when appropriate.
    • Address partner related issues, sales conflicts, and pricing issues in a timely manner.
    • Develop process improvements to optimize partner management activities.
    • Develop and maintain the Partner Program, identifying additional benefits that we can provide to our partners

Requirements

  • Previous channel sales experience at an MSSP preferred; channel sales experience in an enterprise level security product or service provider will also be considered
  • 2+ years’ experience working with enterprise level security products
  • 2+ years working in a channel sales environment
  • Strong background using SalesForce required. SalesForce administration preferred
  • Task oriented, critical thinking to quickly and accurately work through challenges
  • Strong communication skills including ability to drive relationships with vendors, our sales staff, and customers
  • Ability to train on our product and create instructional and marketing programs around our service offering specifically for channel sales
  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding assigned goals and quotas
  • Ability to travel 10%
