Job Description

The Digital Media Designer is responsible for the ideation, creation and development of Paid ads/Performance Marketing assets using a mix of video, motion graphics, animation and stills at a high proficiency level. The person in this role must have a performance-first approach to marketing to optimize and streamline creative decisions to ensure best-in-class iterative Direct Response design is applied to our DTC marketing programs to grow the Wantable brand.

This is a hands-on position requiring individuals who possess strong conceptualization skills grounded in data and analytics, experience with DTC brands and direct response marketing, the ability to offer unique creative solutions, change direction easily, push their creativity and software skills to higher levels, and actively communicate on all phases of a project to maintain the quality of Wantable’s digital platforms. The Digital Media Designer is a high level creative who is expected to set the bar on quality, creativity, and execution. The best fit for this role is a candidate who never settles for "good enough" and reacts in real-time to make creative decisions and leverage how the world responds to our creative to make it even better.

Responsibilities:

  • Create call-to-action advertisements for all of Wantable’s paid media ad campaigns (may include but not limited to: Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube and other emerging platforms)
  • Create and develop short and long form video and motion graphic ads for OTT, paid ads, and digital distribution.
  • Work autonomously to take initiative to pitch and ideate own iterations/refreshes on existing work
  • Receive constant constructive feedback on the ad performance, adapt to these learnings and iterate on top performing campaigns.
  • Innovator in the DR ad space using video, motion graphics and design while maintaining strong understanding of industry trends.
  • Translate project details and creative direction into unique design, motion graphics, and layout solutions.

Requirements


  • Show proficiency with branding guidelines and demonstrate advanced knowledge using Adobe CS and video motion software such as Premier Pro, Motion, and/or After Effects, Adobe Premiere and Final Cut Pro
  • Create advanced videos, designs and animations for network productions, digital platforms, short and long-range assignments.
  • Experience using many footage types and editing UGC (user generated content) or testimonial footage.
  • Experience in Direct Response advertising and workflow
  • Possesses strong individual and team communication skills - effectively communicates to Production and Project Assignment peers to ensure strong dialogue exists throughout the day amp; keep timelines amp; expectations on track.
  • Regularly contribute ideas/initiatives, demonstrates desire to push creative and technology to the next level, shows aptitude to learn and share new software knowledge to enhance individual versatility on assignments.
  • Ability to take direction well and is rooted in data and consumer preferences.
  • Maintains high standards of efficiency, consistency, accuracy, creativity and timely delivery of all requests.
  • Must be highly motivated, work well under pressure, and able to effectively prioritize multiple assignments.
  • Displays keen attention to detail, spelling and grammar.

Qualifications:

  • Performance-first marketing approach to optimize and streamline creative decisions to give our DTC marketing programs the best chance in the marketplace to grow the Wantable brand.
  • Minimum of 6 years hands-on design, graphics, animation, or motion graphics experience in a major TV market, network, post-house, or digital level.
  • Advanced experience in motion graphics and animation applications
  • Passion for retail and strong knowledge of all digital platforms including paid social, and OTT programming.
  • Ability to work some nights, weekends amp; holidays as needed
  • Demonstrable creativity, video, motion graphics, layout, and animation ability with a strong portfolio
