Position Overview

As the Temporary Office Assistant, and a core member of our Human Resources Team, you will help with all receptionist and business support activities, contributing to Amplexor’s overall success. You will have the opportunity to hone essential administrative skills, giving you a great foundation for future growth. You will thrive in this position being the face of the Amplexor Westminster Office and delighting both our internal and external customers. We will help you achieve your goals by continuous professional development in this role.

Please note this is a temporary part-time position, working up to 20 hours per week for 4-6 months.

The hourly rate will be $14-18, based on experience.

This person will need to work in our Westminster, CO office for a few hours every Tuesday and Wednesday. Otherwise this position can work remotely.

Accountabilities

  • You are the voice and face of the Amplexor Westminster, CO office, remain awesomely professional at all times.
  • Work closely with the onsite HR Officer to assist with HR related needs.
  • Special projects as assigned by the HR Officer.
  • Manage the onsite travel requests using Concur (only on an as needed basis, with business travel being significantly scaled back at this time).
  • Work the multi-phone system and conduct appropriate message taking.
  • Greet and assist all visitors to the corporate office.
  • Coordinate and maintain conference room scheduling.
  • Facilitate Company Meetings both onsite and offsite.
  • Arrange meals when required.
  • Maintain and order office supplies on an as needed basis.
  • Upload Non-Disclosure Agreements and/or Master Service Agreements onto the company website.
  • Secure, process and coordinate all shipments for international (DHL) or domestic (Fed Ex) shipments.
  • Handle general office maintenance issues including kitchen and conference room cleanliness, and watering plants.
  • Sort incoming and outgoing mail including taking packages to the post office when needed.
  • Participate in the Employee Event Committee; Take minutes, create agenda and other duties as needed.
  • Business casual dress is required due to the high amount of potential Client and Guest contact.
  • Maintain confidentiality in all aspects of Client, Employee and Company information.
  • Provide support to all internal departments on an as needed basis.

Requirements

  • A High School Diploma and 1-2 years of Admin experience is required.
  • Technology savvy. You don’t need to be a hacker, but a high proficiency using common tools such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, is expected.
  • Top notch written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good organizational skills and self-motivated.
  • Cooperative and willing to assist others and be a good listener.
  • Able to assist multiple management personnel in a variety of tasks.
  • Able to handle a variety of tasks and assignments simultaneously.
  • Works well with team members.
  • Has a can do attitude and positive approach.
