Associate Marketing Manager, Design
At OneSpace, Design Specialists work with internal team members as well as directly with clients to help execute the services we are engaged to provide, particularly related to the creation of e-commerce image carousels for various consumer product goods. Responsible for managing the implementation of project plans that help our clients achieve their strategic business objectives, you will need to be a subject-matter expert of all OneSpace platforms and both emerging and ongoing e-commerce design strategies, and will partner with key stakeholders as well as manage the freelancers responsible for helping complete project work.
This role is based out of Swansea, Illinois, located just outside of St. Louis.
In this role you will:
- Manage the core components of day-to-day operations for client projects, including:
- Working with Account Managers to understand client needs
- Providing ongoing project management support, acting as the primary point of contact for client questions related to visual assets
- Identifying areas for improvement on projects and proposing appropriate solutions
- Finalizing project deliverables to ensure all quality standards and project expectations are met
- Coordinate multiple projects at once, keeping track of all deadlines, deliverables and associated tasks
- Communicate with internal teams regularly to ensure projects are completed on time and meet quality guidelines and budget
- Help clients identify how OneSpace can assist in solving their e-commerce business problems while keeping expectations within the scope of our capabilities, offering and contractual parameters
- Establish procedures and processes that support OneSpace and departmental standards, values and strategic directives
- Implement proper screening methods (tests, samples, surveys, etc.) to ensure the right freelancers have access to the right projects
- Coach freelancers’ performance throughout the lifecycle of a project via email and forums; including resolving disputes, communicating instruction changes, and providing constructive performance feedback
- Within defined parameters, develop incentives for freelancers, motivating them to improve turnaround time and increase productivity
- Responsible for the execution of various e-commerce visual assets
- Assist in the development and continuous improvement of our e-commerce visual assets creation process
- Enforce brand standards and quality assurance of all client deliverables
- Provide regular input on all project activity, including weekly status updates
Requirements
To win in this role you need:
- Bachelor’s Degree (Graphic Design, Marketing or a related field)
- 1-3 years of experience in graphic design
- Agency experience is preferred
- Advanced knowledge of InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop
- The desire to work in close collaboration with freelancer designers
- Insane attention to detail
- Passion and understanding for trends in e-commerce advanced image design
- Demonstrate you can develop original and exciting conceptual ideas and bring visionary ideas to the table
- Ability to work in conditions which include multiple and conflicting priorities
- Strong communication and presentation skills; exceptional listening skills
- Strong problem-solving and project management skills
