Embedded Software Engineering Intern

As a member of the Hardware Engineering team, this internship offers hands-on experience with the embedded software and hardware that power RF Code products. In this role you’ll write firmware in C, then debug it using development tools and lab test equipment. Ideal candidates will be proficient in C as well as Python or JavaScript.

This is an opportunity to work with experienced developers in a creative environment and to learn about IoT product development.

RF Code has positions available for Summer 2022 as well as opportunities to work part-time during the semester.

Requirements

• A passion for making and building electronic and mechanical products
• Fluency in C programming
• Have a basic understanding of microcontroller architecture and development tools
• Proficient with oscilloscopes and other electronic lab equipment
• Ideally have good knowledge of Python and/or JavaScript development
• Great communication skills oral and written
• Mix of hardware and software in a hands-on environment
• Stay in Austin for the summer break
• Option for in-semester part time work
