JOB SUMMARY:

Combination tax and financial planning practice looking to add a qualified team member to service clients, assist advisor and improve business efficiencies. Seeking an organized, detail oriented quick starting individual with good technology skills. The primary purpose of the Financial Services Assistant position is to ensure all operational functions are processed efficiently with limited errors, putting the needs of the client first and providing exceptional service every single time.

This position performs a variety of operational tasks for complex securities or cash related transactions or processes that require extensive knowledge of departmental functions and systems.

Primary Responsibilities will include:

• Assisting advisors in all client related tasks, including preparing for client meetings, opening accounts, account transfers, and a wide variety of other account transactions
• Interacting with clients, over the phone, and in person
• Serving as liaison between advisors, clients, and our custodian
• Adhering to compliance procedures and regulations while performing processes

Desired Qualifications

• Proficient in current and new office technology
• Issue resolution and problem-solving capabilities
• Detail oriented with strong organizational and time-management skills
• Interest in how financial services/markets work
• Ability to work independently
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline driven environment
• FINRA Securities license(s)

Requirements

• Associates/Bachelors degree and/or 2 or more years of financial services industry experience
• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
