My client delivers pioneering software to assist their enterprise, government, and managed services clients to leverage technology that fully automates their business processes while saving time and money.
The Front-End Web Developer works directly with Jr. developers and senior management to create software solutions that are delivered in a SaaS environment. The Developer will have a range of responsibilities, including:
· Database administration
· New feature design and development
· User training
· User manual documentation
· Application support
· Trouble shooting
This role will be best suited for creative/energetic individuals who can work independently as well as in a team setting. A positive and friendly attitude is critical!
This is a contract-to-hire role with the expectation to convert to a full-time within 6-8months. The Web Developer will work remotely with current staff operating on both coasts. Candidates must be able to perform all duties remotely and have reliable access to the internet.
Duties and Responsibilities
· Be a member of an Agile Scrum team using Atlassian products to continue development and support tasks
· Work with and manage AWS (Amazon Web Services) assets such as Cloudfront, API Gateway, Dynamo DB and Lambda’s.
· Provide estimates to complete project tasks and work requests
· Manage SQL and NoSQL resources
· Provide input for technical documentation and user guide
· Develop front-end applications for nationwide enterprise customers
· Integrate with various open-source libraries and microservices
· Deploy and continuously develop applications utilizing Okta as an Identity provider.
Required Skills and Experience
· 1-2 years of Linux administration
· 2-4 years of professional IT experience
· 5+ years professional web development
· 5+ years JavaScript development
· Desire to learn new skills
· Team focused and results driven
Requirements
Desired Skills and Experience
· Experience using GIT version control
· Experience with using and integrating with Atlassian Agile Tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and Service Desk
· Familiarity of working with Ubuntu Server, Apache2, MySQL, Postfix
· Experience with AWS services to include S3, Cloudfront, Route53, Ec2’s, VPC’s, DynamoDB, Lambda, API Gateway
· Understanding of SNMP, API’s and JSON.
· Strong understanding and capabilities with JavaScript and working in NodeJS and React
