Candidate will report to the accounting supervisor and responsible for daily input of financial data as well as monthly closing. Additionally, this role will be working in a team environment that requires the ability to prioritize tasks and responsibilities.
Requirements
- General daily and monthly accounting functions, including preparing and posting journal entries, account reconciliations and cost allocations.
- Assist with the preparation of financial statements. Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end close.
- Conduct a daily bank reconciliation
- Prepare weekly payment reports
- Record daily credit card expense transactions
- Process employee business and general expense reimbursement
- Prepare Fixed assets reports for internal control
- Issue financial statements
- Maintain the chart of accounts
- Assist year end budget and calculate variances from the budget
- Comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements
- Provide clerical and administrative support to management as requested
- Follow accounting policies and procedures

- The candidate should have bachelor’s degree in accounting or business administration, as well as a knowledge of bookkeeping and follow generally accepted accounting principles.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Excel
- Concur Expense and Invoice module experience is a plus
