The mission of the Office Assistant is to be primarily responsible for handling all front desk/reception duties, and other duties as assigned.

Duties Include:

  • Answering company phone; process data for department
  • Assist/direct all visitors
  • Handle and triage faxing/copier, assisting employees with large printing needs
  • Process incoming/outgoing mail/packages
  • Ordering office supplies as needed
  • Monitor all office equipment for maintenance
  • Prepare conference room for meetings/meals, ordering Friday staff lunches, monthly staff birthday cakes
  • Updating and maintaining physician and advanced practitioner databases as needed

Requirements

  • Communications must be able to communicate with internal staff and external clients effectively, professionally, and in a timely manner through phone and e-mail.
  • Teamwork - must be able to work with multiple departments seamlessly and multi-task on various request/projects to ensure the success of the team and company.
  • Presentation must possess polished and professional presentation skills for face to face interactions with clients and internal staff members regularly.
  • Strong Computer skills and profiecient in data entry
