BURNCO is looking to add a skilled AggregatePlant Foreman to our Colorado team. This candidate would work out of the our location Ft. Lupton location. In this critical role you be responsible to manage aggregate production processes and provide daily supervision of plant personnel. You're someone who drives change and takes pride in their high-quality workmanship and their ability to get things done effectively and timely. You work hard and lead by example, building and motivating the teams you lead to safely meet or exceed their performance goals. What You Will Be Doing
As the Plant Foreman, your primary areas of responsibility include:
- Plant Safety
- Proper Production
- Daily Supervision
Expected Results amp; Achievements
- Ensure plant team members follow proper company policies, procedures, laws, and regulations including MSHA safety and quality standards
- Report safety hazards and create safety first culture
- Hold plant team members accountable to behaviors and expectations, escalate personnel issues to Area Manager to address if needed
- Participate in hiring and onboarding process (interviewing, training, etc.)
- Reward and recognize team members based on achievements
- Allocate plant resources based on daily priorities, ensure essential job duties covered, coordinate cross training and act as back up to various roles if required
- Perform daily plant inspection and site inspection
- Problem solve on minor issues, escalate major issues
- Monitor plant operations and efficiency, ensure production quality by testing and analyzing aggregates
- Complete required paperwork and production reports
- Submit work orders, schedule repairs, and follow up on completion
- Receive, inspect, and manage plant inventory
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
What We Would Like From You
- 3 to 5 years of related experience preferred
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred
- Basic mechanical aptitude, math, and computer skills
- Can operate heavy equipment, hand tools, welding, etc.
- Ability to problem solve and prioritize issues
- Ability to build trust and communicate effectively
- Must have safety and quality as a core value
- Works well with a team and can motivate others to be team players
- Ability to work 12 hour shifts and weekends
- Ability to travel to nearby sites as needed - less than 15%

- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly outside and exposed to various weather conditions including hot/cold temperatures and rain/snow conditions.
- Employee constantly stands, walks, uses fine motor skills, gross motor skills, eye/hand coordination, near/far vision and requires active hearing/listening.
- Employee frequently climbs, kneels, bends, reaches, lifts up to 50 lbs, carries up to 50 lbs, pushes, pulls and utilizes manual dexterity.
- Employee is regularly exposed to loud noises, heavy machinery, moving equipment, oil, debris, solvents, smokes, gasses, fumes and aggregate materials.
- Required PPE includes safety shoes above ankles, safety vests, safety glasses, ear plugs and hard hats. Additional PPE requirements needed for special jobs such as welding, repairing, etc.
