BURNCO is looking to add a conscientious Scale Operator to our Firestone, Colorado team. Someone who takes pride in their work and their ability to get things done effectively and timely. Join a solid team, building infrastructure that will be around for generations.

Your Primary Areas of Responsibility Include

  • Operate Weigh Scale
  • Manage Tickets
  • Customer Service

What You Will Be Doing

  • Enter weight from truck on computer, generate ticket
  • Provide tickets to drivers and buyers confirming haul details (material, quantity, etc.)
  • Send generated tickets to main office daily
  • Add new vehicles and orders/jobs to system, update tax codes and overweight permits when required
  • Manage credit card terminal, fill out cash sheets, print out and scan missing tickets
  • Complete daily AGG report, weekly RMX report and other required reports/paperwork
  • Provide helpful and friendly customer service to truck drivers and customers
    • Help inside sales make calls if needed
  • Cross train as needed
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

What We Would Like From You

  • Ability to communicate and work independently
  • Ability to manage money transactions honestly and accurately
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite products
  • High attention to detail with ability to multitask in fast paced environment
  • Can work weekday overtime and on weekends
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred
  • Certified Weigher Certificate preferred
  • Experience handling money transactions a plus
  • Ability to sit for long periods of time, stand, walk, occasionally lift up to 50 lbs and system data entry

IMPORTANT:As this is a safety sensitive position, it is a condition of employment that candidate selected for hire successfully pass comprehensive pre-employment testing that may include a Criminal Background Check, a Drug and Alcohol Test and Physical Assessment testing. Testing for drugs is based on zero tolerance for any Cannabis-derived products regardless of use frequency or purpose.
