Job Description

Our pharmaceutical client has engaged us for a Project Manager within Patient Access Solutions Immunology, located in Horsham, NJ.

The project manager, will be responsible for the compliant design, implementation and operational oversight of Immunology patient support programs. The individual will also design and execute against strategic initiatives across the broader PAS team as needed. This will require tight-knit collaboration with a diverse set of partners to deliver on the brand’s strategic imperatives that seek at providing the best patient experience in market. The individual will be responsible for working with and leading vendors to ensure optimal program performance and standard operating procedures are met, while ensuring efficiency and addressing needs through quality improvement and cost savings. The project manger will be responsible for identifying improvements to evolve overall PAS offerings relative to the supported products of today and of the future. The candidate will need to demonstrate the ability to use insights and data from internal teams, systems, and external customers to continuously look for program experience improvements and inform brand decisions on patient access.

The ideal candidate should possess great communication, presentation and organizational skills. They should be able to conduct an extensive amount of research at a rapid pace, and feel comfortable engaging experts throughout the organization to obtain the necessary answers and resolutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leading resource development, approval and execution of in support of patient support programs
  • Exhibits strong project management skills in a cross-functional and sophisticated environment
  • Execute a communication strategy
  • Work as a liaison between multi-functional internal teams
  • Analyze program data/insights to supervise program operations and efficiency
  • Delivers and crafts clear and concise communications and presentations
  • Build and execute results-oriented operational plans within timelines that are aligned with brand and partner strategies
  • Demonstrate conviction, proactivity and persistence when influencing others and overcoming resistance
  • Is agile and can adjust plans as priorities shift and maintains composure, has a strong sense of urgency when needed
  • Plans, adjusts, prioritizes and executes on strategies to achieve results

This position will be located in Horsham, and requires up to 30% travel for business, as necessary.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 5 years of industry experience (healthcare, medical device or pharmaceutical) related to marketing, analytics, field sales, or sales support is preferred
  • Experienced project management skills is required, 2-5 years
  • Background in Immunology is preferred
  • Experience in market access and or payer knowledge is preferred
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced, time sensitive environment while adhering to deliverables and timelines
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work in a professional and collaborative manner
  • Adept at written and verbal communication and comfortable with public speaking
  • Able to proactively identify risks, and drive action to mitigate and resolve issues
  • Ability to take on new challenges and work outside of one’s comfort zone
  • Ability to identify challenges in existing processes and perform in a dynamic environment to develop actionable solutions and define process improvements.
  • Must have a proven track record of providing value-added customer service.
  • Ability to support cross-functional teams and the ability to understand and translate their business issues into actionable solutions.
  • Excellent personal leadership, collaboration, communication (written, verbal, and presentation)
  • Strong critical thinking skills and attention to detail are required.
  • The individual must perform in a dynamic environment with the knowledge to recommend and implement process improvements.
  • Handle multiple projects simultaneously, adhere to deliverables and timelines, and be open to creative problem solving and team collaboration.
  • Must have competency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint. Have the capacity to learn new technologies and data structures.
  • A clear understanding of Business Processes and how such processes impact the organization as a whole is preferred
  • Ability to resolve issues from customers in a professional and timely manner
  • Ability to identify gaps in business processes and recommend solutions to fix the process in order to make the team more efficient.
  • Must have customer service experience in any capacity that demonstrates knowledge on dealing with customers on a continual basis
