About the position
The People and Places team is looking for a talented Senior HRBP!
Divvy’s People and Places team strive to find, grow and keep the remarkable talent who are our Divvynauts and support our leaders in achieving our company business goals.As a Divvy HR Business Partner, you will be responsible for solving complex organizational challenges through people-related solutions. You'll execute the complete people strategy that will support Divvynauts in realizing their ambitions and leaders achieving strong business outcomes within their teams and departments. This will require you to think big, use data to guide your work, be comfortable navigating difficult situations and conversations, ensure a deep understanding of each of the departments you support, and, in some cases, help us reinvent how work is done. This position can be remote or based out of our headquarters in Draper, Utah.
What you'll be doing
  • Partner with business leaders to develop and lead an effective People strategy for the departments that you support
  • Support the execution of people programs within your practices/departments across all stages of the employee lifecycle including onboarding, compensation, performance reviews, culture initiatives, diversity amp; inclusion, talent management, and more
  • Acts as an advisor/coach to the business unit providing HR expertise and guidance when appropriate on HR related matters including coaching, counseling, career development, resource planning, succession planning, employee relations
  • Act as an advisor and evangelize policies, practices, and HR guidance within the organization for the teams that you support
  • Conduct relevant people analysis and make recommendations to leadership for people related improvements
  • Plant, nurture, and champion our culture, values, and mission as we strive to be a world-class hybrid work environment
  • Work with relevant stakeholders to help spearhead people programs and strategies that enhance our culture -- including performance management, compensation, talent development amp; feedback, employee engagement amp; retention, and internal communications
  • Partner with People team amp; Leadership on org design, planning, and execution at scale
Qualifications
  • 5-7 yrs minimum in HR, 5+ preferred of core HRBP work
  • Results-oriented individual who operates with the business outcomes in mind while ensuring the best employee experience
  • Exceptional listening skills and ability to relate to, influence, and coach employees of all levels in the organization
  • Experience partnering, building trust, and strong working relationships with managers and leaders
  • Effective communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with senior leaders and a variety of stakeholders to drive organizational change
  • Experience understanding strategic organizational issues and influencing change
  • Strong business acumen and ability to work well across different functions in order to integrate people and business strategies
  • Very comfortable with ambiguity and motivated by building and finding solutions
  • Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to analyze data, understand trends, and develop recommendations for action based on the analysis

  • PHR/SPHR
  • Previous experience at a fast-paced startup environment
  • Experience with Workday, Slack, G-Suite, and Notion is a plus
  • Consulting, coaching, and facilitation experience
