AHEAD is seeking aLeadBusiness Analyst to join our internal ITBusinessSolutions team at our Chicago headquarters. This position contributes to the successful delivery ofSalesforcesoftware solutions that enable AHEAD employees to track and process information while providing exceptional service to clients.
Our business analysts are responsible for a deep understanding of company business processes, application configurations and workflows across a variety of software platforms, including a highly customized Salesforce environment.This is a leadership role that will be tasked with maturing our BA program and overseeing the work of other business and data analysts.A typical day will include working closely with internal stakeholders to interpret new business needs and producing clear requirement specifications for programming changes and customizations. Responsibilities will also includevalidating that stakeholder requirements have been met and hosting user acceptance meetings.and driving quality assurance for all developed deliverables.
Reporting directly to our Director of ITBusiness Solutions,the ideal candidate must be a professional, collaborative team player that is comfortable working with people at all levels of the organization. Applicants should possess exceptional analytical, communication, follow up and customer service skills along with an understanding of the Agile framework.Responsibilities- ManagetheBusiness Analystteam and evolve the program with strong procedures
- Elicit business requirements, facilitateconsensusand develop detailed functional specifications in the form of user stories with testable acceptance criteria
- Run test scriptsand provide quality assurance feedback to the development team
- Ensure that prioritized user stories are fully documentedwith definition of readyand approved by stakeholders in advance of backlog planningand user storymeetings
- Ensure business requirements are clearly understood by the development team
- Effectively document production business processes, data flows and system integrations
- Conduct end-user training on new features, changes and enhancements as required.
Qualifications- Prior experience eliciting requirements for Salesforce development projects
- Experience with Quote-to-Cash and ERP/Accounting workflows, including invoicing and revenue recognition
- 5+ years of experience as a software business analyst in an Agile team environment
- Detail-oriented and analytical withexceptionaloral and written communication skills
- Proficiency with process diagramming software such as Microsoft Visio or similar
- Work experience at a technology reseller or professional services firm preferred
Education- Bachelor’s Degree
- Salesforce Administrator, IIBA-CBAP or PMI-PBA certifications desired
