It will be a lean and agile team that focuses primarily on increasing the efficiency/effectiveness of recruiting operations. The team will also create and design forward-thinking, and at times experimental hiring practices, to ensure we are operating as a high performing talent acquisition team.
THE ROLEAs the Director, Global Talent Acquisition Strategy, Innovation, and Operations, you will align our TA organization’s goals and processes to support Eventbrite’s growth, diversity, and other goals. You have the ability to operate in both a strategic, thought-leadership capacity as well as a tactical, execution-driven capacity. You will be responsible for ensuring that Talent Acquisition processes, programs and projects are holistically planned, establishing visibility into progress, and managing coordination of cross-team resources required to create the proper mix of talent, resources, and environment for successful delivery. You bring a deep understanding of the recruiting lifecycle and process and how to best optimize for effectiveness and efficiency.We’re looking for someone who will be committed to consistently raising the bar for our Talent Acquisition organization, connecting dots, identifying trends, and generating ideas. We will lean on you to continually innovate how we work as you operate at the intersection of strategy, project management, and process innovation with a keen focus on execution and analysis of impact. You will be the connective tissue of all work across the Talent Acquisition organization and establish and maintain standards and frameworks to drive cross functional alignment and clarity on ways of working (communication, resource productivity and planning, budget alignment and management, talent management, etc.). Culture, communication and collaboration are strengths as you lead our Talent Acquisition team to support global hiring in an asynchronous fashion.THE SKILL SET
  • Experienced: 7+ years experience leading project management, portfolio management and process improvement strategy. 5+ years of recruiting experience with a deep understanding of each step in the recruitment life cycle. 5+ years of people management experience, with the drive and willingness to engage, coach and collaborate with individuals at all levels.
  • Results Oriented: You will lead the hiring standardization efforts to standardize and elevate the Eventbrite hiring process, where it makes sense for our teams. You will push forward all processes, projects, and logistics to ensure recruiting runs efficiently from the vantage point of all who participate in it. You will own all processes, best practices, and project management to ensure all stakeholders are on the same page and have what they need to consistently execute their respective roles.
  • Strategic: You will lead the design and implementation of complex Talent Acquisition projects bringing focus to structured program management and delivery and measurement of intended results. You have proven the ability to track, prioritize, and drive multiple projects successfully.
