About The Position
In this Business Intelligence Engineer position, you will be supporting our internal company users in building insightful data visualizations in Tableau that turn data into knowledge. Ultimately, you will enhance our business intelligence system to help us make better decisions on the product front that will help us further in creating a better product service and user experience. What You'll Be Doing- Write and understand SQL statements.
- Understand and analyze data using SQL Design and develop practical solutions for complex reporting needs.
- Apply data modeling techniques and standard practices to implement BI self-service and automated reporting
- Salesforce experience, including strong background in Salesforce Architecture
- Perform requirements gathering and thoroughly analyze platform requirements
- Accomplish deep-dive analysis of business requirements and existing reporting solutions to maintain a reusable and shareable BI platform
- Develop and maintain various reports, dashboards, and visualizations in Tableau and other reporting tools
- Help in being an instrumental member of the engineering team with a focus on growing our data-driven culture
- Experience with a change management and ticketing system (Jira, ServiceNow)
Qualifications- 1-2 years of experience in BI development, along with BI tools (Tableau, Looker, PowerBI, Micro-strategy, Sisense, Business Objects, preferably Tableau), building dashboards, and reporting
- 1-2 years of experience with working databases (preferably Snowflake) and datawarehouses
- Strong understanding of the SDLC

- Some experience with very large data volumes
- Knowledgeable with ETL processes
- Working understanding Relational Modeling (Conceptual, Logical and Physical)
