Customer service oriented Accounts Payable professional who will focus on building relationships with our vast vendor base and supporting the Accounts Payable and broader Home Chef operational teams.
* This is a fully remote opportunity *Detailed Responsibilities:
- Reconcile processed work by verifying entries
- Disburse invoices for approval and follow up on approvals
- Research and resolve vendor discrepancies based on three-way match
- Enter invoices into NetSuite
- Charge expenses to accounts and cost centers by analyzing invoices and statements
- Pay vendors by monitoring discount opportunities; verifying federal id numbers; scheduling and preparing checks; resolving purchase order, contract, invoice, or payment discrepancies and documentation; insuring credit is received for outstanding memos
- Verify vendor accounts by reconciling statements and related transactions
- Build relationships among cross functional Home Chef teams
- Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential
- Other assignments as needed
Qualifications:
- 2+ years Accounts Payable experience required
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is preferred
- Strong time-management skills, ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail, thoroughness, highly organized, and ability to manage a high volume of paperwork efficiently
- Knowledge of full cycle Accounts Payable process
- Strong computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft Office, with a strong emphasis on Excel, and NetSuite
- Experience with vendor reconciliations and month end close
- Food industry experience a plus
