Splash is a leading digital lending platform that helps borrowers easily shop and compare financial products from a Splash-powered network of lenders.By bringingcredit unions and banks of all sizes into oneshopping experience, andutilizingour proprietary automated underwriting platform, Splash can help people save thousands of dollars in interest payments.Join us in creating a faster, less expensive financial world.What you'll do - Working closely and building relationships with various internal teams to analyze and communicate legal risks, provide legal advice, and support such teams in relation to vendor agreements.
- Reviewing, drafting, negotiating, amending, and managing Splash’s vendor agreements.
- Preparing and implementing forms and processes for negotiating, executing, amending and on-boarding vendors.
- Ensuring ongoing compliance with such vendor agreements and establishing a process for ongoing monitoring of obligations under vendor agreements.
- Advise with respect to legal and regulatory aspects of compliance matters in support of various business units.
- Provide assistance to General Counsel and other members of the legal team as needed with respect to contracts and regulatory matters.
- Interface with and manage outside counsel.
What you'll bring to Splash: - Juris Doctor degree from an ABA accredited law school
- Membership in a State Bar
- 3+ years of law firm/ in-house experience
- Experience drafting, negotiating, and executing corporate transactions
- Excellent writing skills and ability to multitask and work independently
Preferred Qualifications:- Experience negotiating technology/software services agreements
- Experience negotiating and drafting contracts
- Business-oriented approach to finding unique and cost-effective solutions to legal issues
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills
- Analytical ability and strong attention to detail
- Strong document drafting skills
- Collaborative nature
- Ability to work under pressure for a fast-paced growth-stage company
