About This OpportunityPopmenu is looking for a brand marketing manager to be the steward of the brand, responsible for not only understanding the ins and outs of our clients but also identifying key insights and developing concise and approachable messaging to deliver upon our brand purpose. Ongoing brand-related projects will include establishing greater consistency in our messaging, evolving our brand based on discovery/research with our clients, and maintaining assets and the marketing calendar. You’ll quickly see that the passion and humility of Popmenu’s team are undeniable and we have an opportunity to bring more of that through in all of our assets -- bringing a human element to our technology wherever we can. The ideal candidate has experience evolving/refreshing a brand (ideally B2B) and is passionate about getting the messaging right and constantly testing/iterating to drive scalability.What You Will be Responsible For:
  • Drive Consistency: The restaurant industry is constantly changing and so is our business. The marketing manager is responsible for maintaining consistency (style, quality, tone, voice, etc.) in a changing environment and educating larger teams on usage and implementation -- working with the Director of Marketing to implement larger messaging changes across the department when needed.
  • Brand Evolution through Insights: The marketing manager will put insights at the forefront of their work to create memorable brand moments, true to our positioning, as our products and key differentiators expand -- constantly testing and iterating on messaging to drive the best possible result.
  • Manage Brand Assets and Marketing Calendar: Work directly with the Director of Marketing to manage brand marketing calendar and assets to ensure awareness and alignment across marketing verticals and larger teams.
  • Build Collaboration: You will have ongoing exposure to the entire team and be expected to collect input from key stakeholders to build collaboration across departments and strengthen execution when creating new initiatives in addition to sharing results during/post campaigns.
  • Working in Partnership with Agencies: In situations where outside resources are being utilized, you will assist the Director of Marketing in vetting, briefing, and overseeing agency relationships in order to ensure necessary adjustments are made and agencies are held accountable to project scope and outputs.

  • A strong sense of curiosity -- the ability to see potential in an idea/product/feature and know how and where to present that to the ideal audience and convert.
  • Start-up ready - you have the confidence and problem-solving skills to be effective in situations with limited information.
  • You have a passion for restaurants, dining out, and helping independent restaurant owners grow their business and solidify their position as staples of our communities.
