SugarCRM is looking for a talented, energetic and driven individual to join our team as Business Development Representative (BDR) in Durham, NC or Atlanta, GA. Supporting the North American sales team, you love to coach, but understand that occasionally you’ll be a player too. You are performance driven, with the proven ability to deliver pipeline. Your ability to prospect and develop opportunities is paramount and you promote a strong sense of urgency for reaching goals. You have a passion for guiding and empowering your team to hit targets, while achieving individual targets too.
Building rapport with contacts through phone calls and emails comes naturally to you. You will work closely with the SugarCRM sales team to ensure that the leads provided to sales are qualified correctly and are progressing through the sales funnel. This involves gathering key information to update the CRM system and assigning next steps for sales or marketing nurture paths.Impact you will make in the role:
- Manage lead development for a particular territory in North America
- Research accounts to understand need, enable effective follow-up, and generate interest
- Leverage buyer intent data to prioritize outreach and help create strategies for targeting decision-makers at key accounts
- Successfully manage and overcome prospect objections
- Help empower the NA BDR Team to drive pipeline through generating SQLs for Account Executives
- Builds relationships and effectively communicates with territory sales team and management
- Help BDR Manager maintain daily reports amp; KPIs and monitor individual performance
- Stay current on the SugarCRM products and solutions
- Assist BDR Manager to support current and future recruitment, growth, and onboarding of the BDR team
- Build out strong sales processes for both inbound and outbound lead generation
- Record information and maintain detailed and accurate records in the CRM system
Expertise you will bring in:
- 2+ years of proven experience in Sales Development or Inside Sales
- Experience with value-based selling highly preferred
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Professional, determined, and results-oriented
- Comfortable working with a very high throughput of leads and data flow
- Positive attitude, team-oriented, and a self-starter
- Ability to accurately determine lead qualifications based upon established criteria
- Comfortable learning key software applications
