General Summary:
This position will support and manage the financial operations of the International Growth organization on the eXp Global corporate team. This is a start-up team and the right candidate has a diverse finance and accounting background that allows them to be a strong business partner for starting a real estate brokerage in new countries. The right person for this role will be a self-starter, inquisitive, and a great business partner. They must be able to manage competing priorities while remaining agile, and above all, be able to hit the ground running. This is a dynamic role and no two days will be the same.
This is a fully remote position based in the United States. eXp prefers the candidate to be based on eastern or central time zone, but can accommodate other US locations as well for the right candidate.Major Duties Responsibilities:

- Financial Operations: Mentoring and supporting the in-country finance manager’s processes for GL Systems, AP/AR back office, Cash Management tracking, payroll, financial reporting, taxation reporting, and audit support
- Liaise between the internal accounting team, in-country finance managers, and external accounting teams in-country for support and best practices
- Support the Director of Treasury for the start-up of new banking activities in-country
- Partner with the Director of Tax and the Technology team to construction transaction template examples for the internal transaction system development
- Partner with the Global Consolidation manager for the month end close process and ad-hoc support as needed
- Brokerage operations support, including establishing processes as well as ad-hoc reporting
- Collaborate and partner with cross-functional teams to identify and implement potential operational efficiencies and cost savings
- Other ad-hoc duties, as required
- BS/BA in Finance, Accounting, or closely related disciplines
- CPA is a plus
- 6-8+ years professional work experience related to key responsibilities outlined above
- Experience with a multi-national company is a must
- Experience in revenue accounting, strong GL accounting, and routine closings, particularly in relation to a real estate brokerage
- Experience in account reconciliations, month end, cash applications, and budgeting/forecasting
- Strong project management skills
- Experience in a start-up environment
- Advanced Excel, including if statements, sumifs, index/match, pivots, etc.
- Experience with a tier 1 ERP (preference to Oracle) is a must, and experience with implementation of a new ERP is a plus
- Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced, evolving environment while managing multiple priorities.
- Multilingual is a huge plus. Preference given to Spanish or Portuguese.
