At Broadway, Project Managers coordinate diverse project activities across multiple teams to realize sophisticated customer-driven solutions. Work directly with software engineers, product managers, and customer-facing teams to manage and track software projects and deliverables. Maintain and define project priorities in an agile and adaptive way as business goals evolve. Be the key central hub of information across teams creating new products and systems.Responsibilities:
- Directly manage and be responsible for software projects, tracking requirements, deadlines, and risks.
- Develop and maintain project and staffing plans.
- Define project milestones and track progress against those milestones.
- Command and report upon project schedule, status, budget, and progress.
- Communicate with project stakeholders and participants, both internal and external.
- Prioritize project activities and deliverables.
- Adapt plans and help navigate projects through unexpected circumstances.
- Create and maintain project documentation and other artifacts.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience managing software projects with a team size of five or more.
- Solid technical background, with understanding or hands-on experience in software development and web technologies.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Experience with projects involving front-office trading systems a plus
- Experience managing front end development projects a plus
