Job Description

cLabs is seeking a Community Programs Management Intern to join our Community Development team.
The core purpose of Community Development is to bootstrap resources and support from the Celo Foundation to enable groups and individuals to take action towards the common goal of growing the Celo Ecosystem. We do this through several programs including allocating Community and Education grants, Global Ambassador Program, University Circles and others. In this role you will work on managing and scaling the operations of these programs to allow passionate community members to easily participate in and grow the Celo Ecosystem.You Will:
  • Learn and contribute to managing a portfolio of Community and Education grants and allocating funding to support and grow programs.
  • Research best practices and report on DAO's and DAO tooling.
  • Outreach to leaders and key stakeholders at University Blockchain Clubs to build out a network of Celo University Circles.
You Have:
  • Curiosity and interest in Blockchain, Crypto, DAO's, DeFi.
  • Great communicator: ability to communicate clearly and deliver information in an accessible manner. We interface with a global community across different mediums: chat, email, video calls, Discord, Forum.
  • Passionate about community building and grassroots organizing: an ideal candidate has a passion for organizing and has experience in University clubs / chapters.
  • Passionate about education: education is one of key pillars of community development, an ideal candidate will work with us to identify opportunities for education programs.
