Corporate Development Analyst to join our team.
The
Corporate Development Analyst will play an integral role in supporting a range of Corporate Development activities. These responsibilities include deal sourcing, financial and valuation analysis, due diligence, preparation of executive-level presentation materials, as well as other ad hoc financial analysis and projects in support of CaseWare's inorganic growth strategy.
You’ll be working with:Cooper Wright - VP, Corporate DevelopmentWhat you will be doing:
- In collaboration with the Corporate Development team, build and refine an established valuation framework
- Build, refine and present financial and valuation analysis on an as-needed basis
- Develop presentation materials for internal and external stakeholders
- Assist with deal origination activities, including industry landscape analysis, industry amp; transaction screening, public company research, etc.
- Work collaboratively across functions and geographies to drive deal execution with guidance from Corp Dev leadership
What you'll bring:
- Approximately 6+ months on the job as a financial or investment banking analyst(internships count too!); prior investment banking, corporate development or corporate finance experience strongly preferred
- Financial modelling experience and proficiency and a desire to continue to improve in this area
- Strong attention to detail and intellectual curiosity
- Desire to work in a dynamic, high volume deal environment
Nice to haves:
- Wall Street Prep or Training the Street coursework
- A Bachelors degree in business, finance or accounting
