Job Description

In this role, you will deliver a full spectrum of both strategic and tactical compensation and benefits support and programs. Prepare job descriptions, conduct job evaluation and salary surveys, establish salary structures, develop salary budgets, and prepare policies and procedures to ensure the achievement of equitable and competitive employee compensation. Monitor and evaluate the company’s benefits programs including insurance programs, retirement plans, sick leave, time off, and vacation policies. Ensure programs are current with trends, practices, and costs. Coordinate vendor management and health education initiatives. The ideal candidate will contribute at both hands-on and strategic levels and partner with functional groups to ensure coordination of compensation and benefits strategies and processes across the organization. Providing relevant data and recommendations to guide decision-making related to compensation, organizational structures, retention, promotions, and other activities, are key aspects of this role.

  • Partner with business stakeholders, operations, talent acquisition, finance, and senior leadership teams to understand our employees and the organization’s needs related to compensation and benefits
  • Lead and evolve a strong team of experts in the field of compensation and benefits. Mentor and grow experts with strong business acumen and provide accessibility of development within the HR structure
  • Benchmark activities across all areas of rewards to elevate our understanding of our compensation competitiveness and evolve it over time to meet the changing landscape of our total rewards. Continue understanding and knowledge of emerging market trends to identify potential opportunities and gaps
  • Conduct comprehensive analyses using market data for assigned business; provide technical expertise and proactive guidance to maintain competitiveness
  • Partner with outside consultants to benchmark roles and confirm/establish market and geographical structures for the organization
  • Provide compensation analysis for new and redefined jobs including job description review, FLSA assessment, salary range assignment, and recommendations for pay adjustments
Requirements
  • 10+ years working in Compensation/Total Rewards positions with increasing levels of responsibility
  • Global experience required
  • Experience with various HRIS systems (UKG preferred)
  • Experience with full job architecture build-out
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills; clear and concise written and oral communication skills
  • Desire to work in a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment; ability to work well under pressure and to manage multiple priorities
  • Ability to work in a team environment with a high sense of urgency
Compensation
  • Base Salary: $150,000
  • Base + Benefits + Equity =$245,000
  • Comprehensive benefits plan (medical, dental, vision, disability, life insurance, 401K with match)
