The Harness Marketing team at Harness is looking for an experienced and creative Inbound Marketing professional who loves the challenge of a fast-paced hyper-growth environment. The Director of Inbound Marketing will be responsible for driving demand generation strategy at Harness. Engage with multiple stakeholders to execute multi-channel demand generation programs that drive pipeline that results in revenue for the company. You will allocate resources and budget to a mix of tactical and strategic activities that result in the goals of the programs and projects that are agreed upon by all stakeholders. Create repeatable and scaleable program templates, processes and resources to be consumed in the future. Build, manage and retain a team of Marketing professionals.
Harness is a remote first employer Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with VP of Marketing to create efficient pipeline coverage that meets Harness' current goals
  • Setup pipeline coverage strategies that will solve Harness' future needs
  • Focus on conversion optimization strategies, leveraging best practices and constantly testing ways to improve conversion rates
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to drive content marketing strategies, providing insights on performance and highlighting areas of opportunity
  • Produce valuable and engaging content for our email, website, blog and sales collaterals that will attract and convert our target personas
  • Execute functional business plans and contribute to the development of Marketing strategy across key platforms
  • Track and report marketing and revenue progress to team and support leadership team in defining organizational goals and strategic plans
  • Establish a culture of testing and optimization while driving to a long-term strategy
About you
  • 5+ years of hands-on B2B demand generation experience in the SaaS industry
  • 5+ years of B2B digital/inbound marketing/demand gen, including: search engine optimization/search engine marketing (SEO/SEM), email marketing, lead nurturing, content distribution, trade shows etc.
  • You are a high accountability leader that drives results
  • Familiarity managing distributed teams and agencies in multiple geographies
  • Has a demonstrated history of success leading demand generation programs, and can speak to their results.
  • Loves to work both strategically and tactically
  • Demonstrated B2B marketing experience, knowledge and expertise within SaaS/Enterprise Software. Startup experience is a plus
  • Experience running Account-Based Marketing programs, campaigns and tools, and in successfully marketing to a target account list
  • BA or BS degree required, MBA in marketing or related business degree strongly preferred
