As a
Senior DevOps Engineer on the SRE team, you are passionate about evangelizing a DevOps mindset. You are at home with infrastructure as code, delivery pipelines, and the SDLC. Automation is the standard, using web consoles as a last resort. Your day to day activities will include defining and implementing DevOps best practices, providing building blocks for development teams to use. You are well versed in multiple deployment strategies, with zero down time deployments being the norm.Required Skills
- 3+ years of DevOps experience
- Consulting experience highly preferred
- Mastery of infrastructure as code tools, such as Ansible (preferred), Chef, or Puppet Familiar with change amp; incident management process
- Deep CI/CD pipeline experience using tools such as Jenkins Passionate about automation. Using a web console is always a last resort.
- Source code management using tools such as git is second nature
- Familiar with practices such as GitOps and ability to deploy them
- Experience working with development teams, helping them embody the
- DevOps mindset Zero down time deployments are the standard
- Experience with deployment techniques such as blue/green, canary
- Relentless about making continuous improvement
- Able to advise development teams on cloud native application development
- Experience deploying applications to production using Docker.
- Mastery of the SDLC and how to automate it
