As Divvy continues to grow, managing our balance sheet and sufficiently capitalizing our business are crucial to our organization. As a member of the Capital Markets Team, you will be involved in the growth trajectory of the firm and securing the capital necessary to enable that growth. The team is responsible for managing our liquidity position by working closely with external funding partners to carry out our funding strategy. The team works on structuring and managing credit facilities, securitizations, asset sales and other debt solutions. The team also works closely with divisions across the firm to ensure smooth cross-functional operations - including finance, treasury, product amp; engineering, legal and risk counterparts.
Responsibilities
- Actively work with external funding partners on new fundings / amendments
- Perform cash flow analyses and projections in order to optimize our balance sheet and funding strategy
- Structure, analyze, and execute new credit facilities and financing solutions
- Work cross-functionally on new strategic initiativesand transactions
- Prepare presentations and analysis for external funding partners to secure new deals
- Perform all ongoing daily, weekly, and monthly tasks related to capital markets
- Actively manage and report on our cash flow positioning
- Actively work with our external banking partners to manage our capital markets operations
- Prepare financial analyses on an ad-hoc basis for our CFO, Treasurer, and other senior leaders
Requirements
- 2+ years of capital markets, investment banking or structured finance experience (or a related field)
- Strong work ethic, drive and willingness to contribute above and beyond the prescribed job description to help our company achieve its goals
- Excellent verbal and communication skills, including the ability to effectively manage relationships with external banking + funding partners
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, judgment and ability to prioritize tasks
- Experience and eagerness to both work as a team and also drive projects individually with minimal oversight
- Experience with financial models and financial forecasting
- Eagerness to take on new projects, tasks and initiatives
- Strong proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint a must. Experience with macros and Tableau a plus
