THE OPPORTUNITY:hint water, one of the fastest growing beverage companies in the market, is looking for a dynamic and strategic individual to join our remote team as an
Accounts Receivable Specialist. You will be a critical member of our talented core Finance and Accounting team.
The perfect candidate will be very detail-oriented and communicative to establish relationships with all customers and internal departments. You will have the project management ability to accomplish collections, as well as process and dispute chargebacks
WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH:As our Accounts Receivable Specialist, you will report directly to our Senior Manager, AR amp; Deductions.You'll also work with:
- Deductions Analyst
- Sales Team
- Operations Team
WHAT YOU WILL ACHIEVE:
- Contact customers to collect past due receivables, determine reason for non-payment and work with various departments to resolve any collection issues.
- Dispute and track repayment for all unauthorized deductions.
- Direct and oversee outsourced accounting team to ensure accuracy of transactions.
- Create and distribute reports regarding collection issues and deduction disputes.
- Compose and send written communication to customers and internal team members regarding chargebacks, disputes, and follow ups.
- Research and code billbacks as needed.
WHO YOU ARE:
- A Bachelor’s Degree is strongly preferred. Although all candidates are welcome and encouraged to apply, preference will be given to those with degrees in a relevant field.
- 1-3 years of direct experience in accounting
- Recent experience in the CPG industry is strongly preferred
- Preference will be given to candidates with recent experience in accounting
- Hands-on, roll-up-your-sleeves style, used to working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
- Passionate about a healthy lifestyle and promoting a product that enables customers to make healthy choices without sacrificing taste
