What you will be doing:As Eden Health’s Director of Credentialing, you will be responsible for leading all administrative operations that set us up for success to see patients virtually and in our clinics- including but not limited to: all aspects of licensing and credentialing for our clinicians according to state compliance and insurance standards, CLIA and business certification, supervisory agreement strategy and general certification maintenance. This role is a critical part of Eden’s Operations and essential to our ability to onboard clinicians and see patients, as well as our ability to expand our services to new geographical service areas. You will manage a small but mighty team as well any necessary vendor relationships to get the job done.As the Director of Credentialing you will report directly to the VP of Primary Care Delivery.This is a hybrid, remote-first role with the flexibility to work from home four days a week-there is one committed day in our corporate office in NYCWhat success looks like:
  • Structuring of the function in a way will enable us to scale-- including hiring, managing and developing your org
  • Decreasing time to licensure and enrollment by building standard work and improving processes
  • Designing and improving the administrative aspects of provider onboarding to ensure the proper applications are initiated during the hiring process and providers have an outstanding experience
  • Researching and tracking state licensing and supervisory requirements for all 50 states for all clinical roles (MD, DO, NP, PA, Medical Assistant, Phleb, Physical Therapists and Social Workers)
  • Overseeing the completion of: all new license applications as well as tracking amp; completing license renewal, payor enrollment applications, CIN applications for individual providers or the group, CLIA and business certifications, TIN and set up, Medicare number acquisition, Provider CAQH ProView profile
  • Tracking: CME requirements,Supervisory agreements and regulations, Licensure renewal and status, Network status for providers
  • Managing Eden’s licensing and credentialing vendors as well as vendor strategy- in partnership with legal and finance you’ll determine when to build and when to buy
  • Being a thought partner and collaborator with clinical team leads on licensing and credentialing strategy
What you will bring:
  • At least 5 years of experience, in licensing and credentialing for a provider organization
  • 3-5 years of management experience
  • Expertise in growing and scaling operations
  • Familiarity with multi-mode communications and coms/rollout process development
  • Strong track record of exceeding measurable goals successfully in spite of obstacles
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, including experience communicating insights through data with senior-level executives
  • You are a highly detail oriented self-starter
  • You love digging into state compliance and geek out on a beautiful spreadsheet
  • You like to organize processes and improve on workflows that already exist because there’s always an opportunity for efficiency
  • You have experience working with clinical providers
