As a Creator Management Intern on the Wattpad WEBTOON Studios team, you will be an essential part of helping our Creator Management Team set up our most important creators for success both off and on the Wattpad amp;/or WEBTOON platform. You will work closely with the Creator Management Team to build the resources and manage communications that will enable strong writer relationships and create deep writer trust, ensuring that our creators thrive in their professional relationship with us. This is a paid 6 - 8 month term internship.What you’ll be doing:- Assist Creator Management Team in the outreach to creators with regards to rights availability, as well as the distribution of our rights acquisition agreements.
- Assist Creator Management Team with the onboarding of Creators whose work is entering our catalogue and ensuring uniformity of all details, documents, and agreements within our database.
- Assist our Creator Management Team with the creation of educational resources that will help prepare our creators for success in the industry and see continued growth.
- Ordering gifts for creators on their release dates and other major professional landmarks..
- Assist our Creator Management Team with other day-to-day operational tasks such as record updating, contract review, mail outs, etc.
- Monitoring the Wattpad profiles + social accounts of our creators to watch for burnout and/or problematic behaviour.
- Responsible for keeping the team informed of the viable new + backlist content from our creators, to be passed along to our Content team for review.
- Provide viable operational suggestions to help build, strong, trustworthy relationships with our pool of creators.
- Stay up-to-date with the entertainment, publishing, and influencer landscapes and share relevant information with the team.
- Assist in tracking and invoicing of payments for Wattpad amp;/or WEBTOON Studios creators.
- Provide day-to-day support for our creators, responding to questions and escalating concerns to the appropriate stakeholders.
- Be solutions-oriented in the face of challenges with our writers.
What we're looking for:- A highly engaged WEBTOON user amp;/or Wattpadder. A passion for Wattpad stories amp;/or WEBTOON webcomics and, in particular, the importance of the creators who are developing them, is a must.
- You have 2+ years of experience working in a role, or attending academia, related to publishing, entertainment, publicity, marketing, communications, or customer success.
- Strong written and oral communication skills with a voice that can resonate with both creators and business partners alike.
- An eagerness to take initiative and an ability to juggle multiple priorities with ease.
- Proficient in GSuite, Powerpoint, Word and Excel is a must
- Experience with user-generated content is a big plus.
- Fluency in another language is an asset but not required.
