The Senior Technical Business Analysis will be a strategic partner to the finance team working to build robust solutions that simplify and streamline financial processes. This leader will have a broad understanding of all financial management and controllership concepts.
We are looking for an experienced business analyst that is ready to work with stakeholders throughout our business to deliver innovative, impactful solutions empowering finance with the tools needed to effectively run a global private equity backed company.Responsibilities
- Provide thought leadership and strategic planning for the finance roadmap, help define the building blocks and shape the future vision
- Provide expertise in business analysis, technical analysis, business process reengineering, configuration management, and knowledge management
- Gather requirements from business partners including facilitating working sessions with various stakeholders and support teams
- Works across business and IT functions to understand requirements end-to-end designing quality specifications including system features, data requirements, workflows and user interface
- Analyze requirements to identify gaps, risks, and opportunities for efficiencies
- Assist business stakeholders and IT in clarifying requirements, breaking down deliverables, defining the schedule, and identifying milestones
- Translate business requirements into agile artifacts (user stories, epics and tasks) to support development and QA teams
- Communicate status for ongoing tasks regularly with team members, stakeholders and the scrum master
- Perform unit testing and support other forms of testing as needed
- Incorporates industry best practices into deliverables, ensuring robust, resilient,?secure and supportable solutions
- Onboard new resources, conducts performance reviews,?provides ongoing coaching and mentoring to ensure continued development of team members
- Demonstrate an ongoing commitment to improving process, standards, and operating?mechanisms.?
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Management Information Systems or related field and experience
- 5+ years of experience as a Finance Business Analyst or other relevant experience
- Experience with developing products and features for finance
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Results oriented leader, able to facilitate across multiple stakeholders to deliver outcomes
- Experience with Financial system configuration options, data model/architecture, and security model
- Experience with process flow diagramming with tools such as Visio or LucidChart
- Ability to balance technical skills with business acumen, able to transform end user needs/functional requirements into technical requirements
- Ability to perform in a dynamic, fast-changing and fast-paced work environment
Preferred qualifications
- Experience in Enterprise SaaS industry at a global scale
- Netsuite, Agile, and/or PMP certifications
- Working knowledge of the integration points associated with financial systems.
