As a PM at Yieldstreet, you will work together with design, engineering, data and marketing teams to grow our mobile experience.The goal of your work will be to lead the mobile efforts that enhance the quality of the user experience of our mobile app as well as the overall customer journeys (from app store optimizations to mobile web / mobile app interactions) around mobile.
Product at Yieldstreet is led by our Chief Product Officer, who brings 20+ years experience to the role from companies like Soundcloud, Shutterstock, and others. The team also has two Sr. Directors, who have substantial fintech domain expertise. This role reports to a Sr. Director of Product. We are frequently and actively involved in company-level strategic decisions, and this role offers the opportunity to be part of an innovative product team where you will have an immediate impact on the investor experience.What You'll Do:- You’ll be leading the experience of our mobile app in partnership with other product managers, who work with pods focused on specific parts of the customer journey
- You will drive all aspects of the mobile product development process, from strategy and vision, to discovery and experimentation, through execution and delivery
- You’ll obsess over building an engaging mobile experience that changes user behavior
- You’ll use measurement and outcomes to know where best to invest the team’s valuable time, share insights and results throughout the company to evangelize the high-impact work across the mobile platform
- Leading collaboration between engineering, design, data, user research and marketing to define and execute the multi-year vision, strategy and roadmap for our mobile experiences
- Helping evaluate and integrate 3rd party platforms that help drive a seamless and delightful member experience
- Developing a robust approach to A/B testing, qualitative experimentation, and user feedback on mobile
- Facilitating collaboration and coordination across all platform teams (web, mobile) to improve tooling and infrastructure to better support mobile product development
What You'll Need:- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in product management, preferably within a high-growth, B2C technology company with at least 3 years focused on consumer mobile products from kick-off to shipping
- Passion and excitement for working within the mobile ecosystem across iOS and Android
- Experience shipping great products with exceptional user experiences at scale
- Experience using qualitative customer insights and quantitative data to inform product decisions. You’ve conducted user interviews, usability research and A/B tests and have a strong understanding of customer segmentation combined with a growth mindset
- Persistence and a whatever-it-takes approach to ensure that your product and team are successful
- You can translate business goals into technical and marketing requirements for the engineering team and marketing teams and know how to operate in an iterative, fast-moving environment
- Ability to clearly communicate product decisions and the rationale behind them, tailoring your verbal and written communications to your audience
- Excellent organizational skills and proven ability to lead through influence rather than direct authority
