This role will be based in our Redwood City, CA office. Responsibilities:
  • Serve as a trusted and strategic business partner to people managers and leadership in designated client groups to develop and retain top talent
  • Understand company goals and strategies and serve as client groups’ liaison to successfully deliver People Team programs and initiatives
  • Act as a champion of company culture, exhibiting core values to promote thoughtful decisions and drive effective change in a fast-paced environment
  • Provide insightful data in partnership with the People Operations team to guide and empower managers in making data-informed decisions related to their org
  • Provide ongoing support and guidance to managers in the following areas: performance management, employee relations, organizational health and design, change management, employee development and recognition, and other strategic initiatives
  • Actively participate in planning and leading projects related to People initiatives and programs including engagement surveys, performance management, employee and manager training, etc.
  • Manage and facilitate employee relations cases as they develop, and bring in appropriate resources where necessary to address the situations
  • Establish a positive rapport with client groups to deliver coaching and development feedback to managers and employees
Requirements:
  • 6+ years of general HR experience with 3+ years in HRBP (or equivalent) role
  • Strength in assessing an organization, identifying gaps, and developing solutions
  • Ability to build trust with teams and business partners across the entire organization
  • Strong influencing and consultative interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated ability to manage change and resolve conflicts
  • Fluency with people-related metrics and digging into problems to craft unique solutions in a structured way
  • Collaborative and team-oriented mindset; low ego
  • Highly ethical character. Can be trusted to do only the right thing for employees, the company and shareholders
  • Excellent follow-through, performance, judgment, and sense of humor
  • Experience partnering and influencing leaders across diverse groups to help drive their people strategy and increase business results
