Job Description

  • Define and implement monetization strategies (pricing and packaging) for new and existing products, ensuring alignment with broader product strategy and company-level financial goals
  • Collaborate with other Product Managers to define product strategy, and drive multi-functional alignment (i.e. from finance, engineering, marketing, operations) on project scope, objectives, and prioritization by building business cases to assess impact and resource efficiency
  • Constantly seek out most efficient ways to address evolving customer needs across our target market segments, considering the trade-offs between targeted performance, customer willingness-to-pay, production cost, technical/market risk, and development cost
  • Continuously collect and analyze data on how our products are faring in the market, identify areas for improvement, and develop strategies to address them (i.e. increasing revenue, reducing costs, decreasing CAC, increasing customer retention and spend, increasing pipeline conversion rate, etc.)
  • Set up and run various pilots in the market to test the impact of proposed changes to pricing, packaging, features, and GTM strategy
  • Foster cross-functional relationships and build credibility with Engineering, Sales Operations, Sales, Marketing, Legal, and Finance in order to garner support for planned initiatives
Requirements:
  • 5-8 yrs experience in product management, engineering, or strategy consulting, with track record of successfully launching and increasing revenue/profit for new products and services
  • Proficiency with Excel and financial modeling a must
  • Comfort with quantifying and mitigating risk, and with plotting a defensible path forward through uncertainty
  • Ability to balance between conflicting priorities and needs across the organization and customer base
  • Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills both internally and with external partners and customers; proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority
  • Strong written and verbal communication, and experience conversing and debating with senior executives
  • BS/BA degree in relevant field; MBA or engineering background preferred
