Job Description

At Carbon, we have created a new additive manufacturing (3D printing) process that is moving our industry and the concept of digital manufacturing into the public sphere for the first time. We are looking for enthusiastic, hungry, intelligent and communicative people to join our Sales Development team as an HVA (High Volume Applications) SDR with a focus on identifying companies looking to innovate and produce products at a high volume with Carbon Technology. The Sales Development Team leverages an ABM (account-based marketing) approach to engage with prospects to educate, identify and qualify organizations that are an ideal fit for Carbon DLS technology. We are looking for people who are excited to learn and make an impact in this rapidly growing space!This role can be remote, but prefer SF Bay Area, CA.Role and Responsibilities:
  • Work closely with the Marketing Team, HVA Sales Leader and Sales Directors to build a strong global pipeline of opportunities across a wide range of industries including Consumer, Automotive, MedTech and Industrial.
  • Match qualified prospects with the Applications Development Sales Team to qualify and consult on unique applications suited for 3D printing with Carbon
  • Collaborate closely with the HVA Sales Team to create and curate target account lists and ensure these are maintained/updated in Salesforce
  • Develop high level application specific knowledge (i.e. performance requirements / standards)
  • Develop a strong go to market plan in conjunction with Marketing and Sales stakeholders to ensure tight alignment and approach to strategic target accounts (ABM)
  • Respond to all inbound leads in a timely and comprehensive manner
  • Effectively manage queues to ensure all leads are dispositioned and tracked in the system
  • Manage, track, and report sales activities amp; results using Salesforce and collaborate with Marketing Ops to provide relevant feedback for process improvement
  • Learn and maintain in-depth knowledge of Carbon technology, industry trends and competition
  • Consistently achieve or exceed stated opportunity conversion performance goals
Key Qualifications:
  • 4-year degree from an accredited university
  • 3-5 years of experience in sales, tech sales preferred
  • Salesforce or related CRM experience
  • Experience handling combination of inbound and outbound prospecting (Outreach experience preferred)
  • Account-Based Marketing experience preferred
Bonus Points:
  • Additive Manufacturing and/or hardware/software selling experience
  • B2B sales experience
  • Relevant experience in Design Engineering or Manufacturing Consulting
  • Experience using LinkedIn Sales Navigator and Zoominfo/Clearbit
