The Talent Acquisition Programs Manager is an essential part of the team’s success. This person will be managing the foundational programs that support all our recruiting efforts. By partnering with key stakeholders in HR, Hiring Managers, Carbon ERG’s, Universities, and external vendors, the Talent Acquisition Programs Manager will be responsible for building best in class programs for: Diversity and Inclusion
  • · Diversity, Equity, Including and Belonging efforts are not limited to just hiring, but the Talent Acquisition Team plays a significant role in making sure we are building the most diverse and qualified team at Carbon, as such, this person will be developing programs that ensure we are being intentional about our commitment to diversity throughout the hiring process across the company.
  • · In partnership with internal recruiters, work to evaluate tools and recruiting strategies that help us source from diverse talent pools.
  • · In conjunction with TA Leadership and external partners, evaluate the hiring process and design a program that fosters diversity and inclusion.

Candidate Experience
  • · We want ever person who takes the time to explore opportunities at Carbon to walk away with a positive experience, no matter the outcome. The person in this role will look at the hiring process from end to end to ensure everyone we meet feels valued and respected.
Qualifications for the role
  • · 6+ years working as a talent acquisition, branding and/or DEIB Specialist. Having cross functional experience in these areas is highly desirable. You do not have to have experience in all above listed areas of TA. Strong program management skills and passion for the work are more important.
  • · Proven ability to work cross functionally to achieve desired outcomes. While you are the person responsible for our Talent Acquisition programs, you will work heavily with others to execute on plans. To be successful you will need to have the ability to work at strategic and operational levels with influence to cultivate strong partnerships.
  • · Monitor, track and communicate recruiting and programs activity in our ATS Lever, with hiring teams and through metrics and presentations to key stakeholders.
  • · Commitment to DEIB work either through previous work in ERG’s, targeted diversity recruiting efforts or experience in employment branding.
  • · Strong analytical skills as demonstrated by measuring outcomes through data to show program success and ROI.
  • · Track record of success in managing many projects and programs concurrently.
  • · Understanding of the unique challenges (and opportunities) or working in a startup environment. If you crave highly defined processes and structures, be prepared to be a part of the team that creates them. We like good processes too, but we are a work in progress.
  • · A love of working in a team environment. We all share in the success of one another, and it shows in how we help each other meet objectives.
