The Citizenry partners with artisans around the world to create home goods that blend our modern style with their time-tested craftsmanship. We sell our exclusive collections online amp; in our New York Flagship store, delivering new standards of quality, transparency, and social responsibility for retail.
That’s where you come in. We’re currently seeking an E-commerce Manager to play a key role in site optimization, merchandising, and daily operations for the-citizenry.com. This cross-functional role will partner with Marketing, Production and Planning teams to build, analyze and optimize site experiences to support product launches, events, and advertising. You have a love of analytics and a passion for pivot tables, but you’re equally comfortable tapping into your creativity to execute visual merchandising magic.
The ideal candidate is highly organized and detail oriented. From crafting strategic plans to tackling hands-on execution, you’re confident owning a process from start-to-finish and delivering premium quality work at every turn. You must be passionate about building a best-in-class digital shopping experience and eager to play a critical role in a rapidly growing DTC business.THE JOB
  • Build and execute on-site strategies to support product launches and events, from merchandising and navigation updates to customized landing experiences and technical execution
  • Own the product set-up process, ensuring timely, accurate delivery of product listings
  • Manage on-site merchandising in alignment with business goals amp; inventory availability
  • Partner with Digital Product Development to build requirements for site enhancements to support product launches and events
  • Develop site experiences tailored to individual marketing campaigns, working closely with the marketing team to identify opportunities and engage in testing and optimization
  • Maintain regular KPI reporting; extract key insights to fuel continuous site optimization
  • Assist with User Acceptance Testing for site enhancements; perform constant site QA to ensure consistency of consumer experience
  • Manage and optimize presence on secondary channels/third party sites (e.g. product data feeds, marketplaces)
  • Jump in and help wherever needed, from updating broken links to uploading new products to the site
  • Roll up your sleeves and fill in gaps when needed (after all, we are a startup)
QUALIFICATIONS
  • 5+ years of e-commerce experience, DTC startup experience a plus
  • Strong communication skills amp; ability to connect the dots based on inputs from various teams
  • Highly organized, detail oriented amp; experienced in project management
  • Experience with A/B testing including strategy, execution and performance measurement
  • Proficiency in Google Analytics or comparable platform amp; ability to extract and communicate data-driven insights
  • Proactive self-starter with the ability to identify opportunities, build and refine processes, and drive problem resolution
  • Merchandising and site experience optimization experience
  • Demonstrated experience with e-commerce platforms (Shopify Plus preferable); basic HTML skills a plus
