Due to our continued growth, WareMalcomb has an exciting opportunity in our Irvine office for a Senior Human Resources Specialist!
We are all about culture at Ware Malcomb and we are looking for our next Human Resources team member, who culturally fits both on the HR Team and the Ware Malcomb Team.Under the direction of the Director, Human Resources, the Senior Human Resources Specialist is responsible for supporting the day-to-day Human Resources functions for multiple offices of a 24-office international firm with 800+ team members and a great work culture.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, partnering with the Director, Human Resources with strategizing, developing, and executing the following Human Resources areas in both the U.S. and Canada: development of company policies and procedures, legal compliance, onboarding, work culture, payroll, performance management, benefits, employee relations, HR/payroll auditing, and health and safety programs. This senior-level position is a true generalist opportunity and will also have the chance to work on specialized projects.Senior Human Resources Specialist Professional Experience:
  • Proven ability to succeed in a collaborative/team oriented environment
  • Exceptional communication skills and relationship building skills to effectively support and connect with alllevels of team members
  • High energy level, positive attitude, and service oriented, but assertive/persuasive when required
  • Comfortable performing multi-faceted projects in conjunction with day-to-day tactical activities in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrated competence in broad fields of human resources including: change management, team memberengagement and relations, and performance management
  • Ability to act with a high level of passion and enthusiasm and be energized by the opportunity to drive HR programs
  • Proven project and time management skills
  • Strong business acumen and strategic planning ability
Senior Human Resources Specialist Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 7+- years of generalist human resources experience
  • Certification(s) for Human Resources Professionals (PHR/SPHR, SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP)
  • Proficiency with Paycom
  • The ability to think strategically and anticipate future trends, needs and expectations
  • A continuous improvement mindset
  • Experience in employee relations with emphasis on positive team member engagement
  • Ability to travel to assigned offices (air, car etc.)
