Are you looking for an opportunity to build an analytics team from the ground up? We are looking for a Manager, Product Analytics to join our growing team as we enter a new phase of expansion. In this role, you'll partner with our Product, Marketing, Sales, Finance and Operational teams to optimize the funnel, increase retention, and identify areas of opportunity to accelerate our growth engines. How will I make an impact?In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with various business teams, product, marketing, and content stakeholders, to shape Getaround’s business, growth and marketing strategies for the supply and demand sides of our marketplace. You will manage end to end analytical capabilities (instrumentation, measurement, testing, and modeling as required) that will feed our data-driven decision making on which levers to pull according to the business needs. Also, you will lead impact measurement of launched growth initiatives. Over time, you will be viewed as the expert who understands how to fine-tune our product analytics for optimal performance. What you'll be doing
  • Be an independent research powerhouse. This includes conducting exploratory analysis and modeling to identify opportunities for improvement, which could range from simple retention calculations to sophisticated predictive modeling
  • Recommend to improve our data infrastructure, which includes new instrumentation and logging to uncover otherwise invisible user behaviour, improving our data models and processes, ensuring there is strong analytics input into the evaluation and prioritization of new opportunities and helping to set growth and revenue goals
  • Empower other teams with data, to include the leadership, product, content, marketing, and finance teams, such that every decision is backed up with solid data and analysis
  • Work closely with business owners to understand and identify key business questions, challenges, and KPIs to increase hosts, cars and guests on the Getaround platform
  • Develop a comprehensive data-driven growth strategy in coordination with supply and demand business stakeholders to optimize our funnel
  • Measure how well marketing strategies and programs are working by analyzing customer behavior including, customer segmentation, retention, churn and cohort analysis
  • Strong communication skills to convert findings and complex data analysis, into executive level presentations, that drive our growth strategy
  • Understand performance and key drivers of performance to provide ongoing deep dives that help stakeholders understand and predict business performance
  • Use sales data to cohort our hosts by source and value to our platform to inform our marketing outreach and campaign performance
  • Use Segment event data from our mobile and web apps to determine product pain points and why hosts fall out of the funnel
  • Create marketing initiatives that improve our LTV:CAC quarter over quarter
  • Collect data on market conditions, competitors and consumers
What you'll need
  • 6+ years of demonstrated success in product and business analytics and/or statistical analysis related to experimentation, attribution, and causal inference
  • Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field (e.g. marketing, statistics, business, or economics) required.
  • 2+ years of experience in an analytics role in a fast-paced environment like tech, consulting, investment banking, or similar2+ years of experience in analytics management and team building
  • Experience with a Business Intelligence tool like Looker, Tableau, Redash, Mode, Power BI, Qlik, Periscope, etc
  • Experience in native app analytics is strongly preferred
  • Self-motivated, independent, organized and proactive, highly responsive, flexible, and adaptable when working across multiple teams
  • Passionate about producing high-quality analytics deliverables and communicating recommendations effectively to a broad audience
  • Results driven personality with the ability to encourage and empower team members
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to produce high quality and concise deliverables
