Job Description

Getaround connects safe, convenient, and affordable cars with people who need them to live and work. Our community includes guests who rely on our cars for on-demand mobility and hosts who share cars on our platform, including those who operate their own car-sharing businesses.
Our connected car technology allows guests to book and unlock a wide variety of vehicles directly from our app without ever having to meet anyone in person, carry an access card, wait in line, or coordinate picking up keys. Cars are parked 22 hours a day on average. When we share cars, we don’t need as many on the road, which means fewer accidents, reduced traffic, and less space required for parking. Car sharing modernizes mobility by allowing people to connect multiple forms of efficient transportation for any type of use case.
Studies show that when car sharing is available, people drive less and drive vehicles more appropriate for their use case, which can reduce household carbon emissions by up to 40%. Also, shared cars are used more frequently and retired more quickly, accelerating the adoption of newer, more energy-efficient vehicles.
The Partnership Development Manager is a key role on the Location Partnerships amp; Strategy team. On a day-to-day basis, you will manage a team of Partnership Development Coordinators to push the pipeline towards a closed opportunity and help optimize our existing locations. The location is key to Getaround’s success and will have high visibility throughout the company. As a manager, your job is to lead your team to increase the number of partnered locations for Getaround cars by creating and executing processes and strategies to help your team exceed expectations. You will be a source of knowledge and best practices amongst the Partnership Development Coordinators and will help to hire, train, onboard, and mentor new Partnership Development Coordinators. The Partnership Development Manager will also be responsible for reporting, productivity, CRM maintenance, and other sales reporting functions. This position reports directly to the Manager, Real Estate Partnerships.

What you'll be doing
  • Hire, train, and lead a team of Partnership Development Coordinators
  • Manage a successful sales team and ensure that the team consistently meets or exceeds daily performance metrics
  • Provide daily, weekly, and monthly reporting on volume statistics, lead pipeline, conversion of opportunities, and playbook effectiveness
  • Analyze performance metrics data and leverage it to effectively coach and develop the team
  • Refine and evolve a scalable, measurable, and predictable process for running and growing the team
  • Remain knowledgeable of key processes, business initiatives, and internal resources in order to assist the sales team and recruitment in accomplishing company goals

What you'll need
  • 2+ years of relevant professional experience
  • Experience with using CRM to report sales activity
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a get-it-done attitude
  • Experience building from scratch, working cross-functionally, and managing people and processes
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills
