As a People Operations Coordinator you will have the opportunity to learn, develop, and work with two functions of the People team: People Operations and Recruiting. You will aid in the success of Trust amp; Will’s employee experience; beginning with recruiting through the employee lifecycle. Our organization is growing quickly and we’re looking for someone to join our People team and grow with us as well!
About you:You are organized and curious to learn. You have the ability to research and learn while offering support to multiple teams. You’re looking for an opportunity to understand different functions of People Operations with the eagerness to grow. People Operations
  • Assist with all internal and external HR related inquiries or requests; including but not limited to onboarding, benefits, payroll, people ops guidelines and policies
  • Maintain digital copies of employees' records and People Operations filing
  • Process payroll and manage timesheet entries and approvals
  • Register for tax compliance in new states
  • Keep track of compliance for federal and state guidelines
  • Review and approve expense reimbursements submitted in Gusto
  • Assist with performance management procedures
  • Keep up-to-date with the latest HR trends and best practices; update guidelines and policies
Recruiting
  • Assist with the recruitment process by corresponding and coordinating with candidates throughout the interview process, including but not limited to email communication, and organizing panel interviews with internal team
  • Assist with ensuring interview tools are operating effectively, such as Zoom and troubleshooting scheduling issues
  • Coordinate the gathering of feedback with the interview panel
  • Propose creative ideas to improve the candidate journey and internal processes
  • Set and maintain expectations throughout the interview process, including clear communications, timing, next steps, updates, and timely responses
Qualifications
  • 2+ years in a People Ops/HR, Recruiting Coordinator role, or in a role of similarly relevant work experience
  • Excited to learn more about People Operations and Recruiting functions
  • Ability to multitask projects throughout the day
  • Proficiency with Google Calendar and an Applicant Tracking System
  • Experience with HRIS and managing confidential files
Bonus points for
  • Experience working in a tech company and / or high growth startup
  • Experience working with Gusto (HRIS), Lever (ATS), Zoom, ClickUp, and Slack
  • Knowledge and / or experience researching state and federal laws
