We are looking for an Affiliate Show Support Division (ASD) Senior Production Manager. As part of the operations team and reporting to the Director of Affiliate Show Support Services, the ASD Senior Production Manager will perform a multitude of production, technical and operational responsibilities in support of Affiliate touring shows and projects, with emphasis on project management and stage management, maintaining production quality, rehearsal coordination, budgeting and communication with all other departments. This position will oversee and manage the Affiliate Show Support Services Division’s production departments that conceptualize, build, maintain, services and supports the companies live event productions including internal theatrical touring shows and corporate events. The ASD Senior Production Manager will: - Provide leadership, guidance, training and knowledge for touring show technicians for trouble shooting system problems, resolve equipment supply chain procurement issues, lead efforts to formalize a road support supply chain and SOP system of procurement;- Provide expertise and support on stage and arena rigging and theatrical carpentry for both touring shows, new show development and other projects;- Run day-to-day activities surrounding the load-in, technical track rehearsals, dry and wet techs and load-outs as directed and required for rehearsals and tour relaunches;- Be responsible for the administration of jobsite operations which may include estimating, pricing, quoting, order processing, payroll processing, billings and/or collections;- Help develop and implement operations strategies that improve installation and service delivery and provide additional value to customers in a cost-effective manner;- Work closely with Affiliate management team to identify and recommend policies and procedures which will promote improvement in production capabilities, raise revenue, and lower direct cost and overhead;- Be the Creator and Owner of project schedules and timelines, with accountability of the team meeting deadlines;- Liaise with Creative Team and IP owners on new show development as it pertains to schedules, timelines, production capabilities and limitations along with communicating operational parameters for fabrication and development of new show builds;- Effectively communicate project requirements to project team and wider organization as and when required and maintains accurate and up to date records of job status, job changes, material flow and other control records necessary for processing of internal and external reports;- Participate with Affiliate Show Support Services Directors in creating the division business plan, which includes financial and labor projections, COG estimates, and overhead. Supervises the administrative process necessary to track production manufacturing budgets. Analyze, report, and ensure budget accountability;- In conjunction with the Affiliate Services Division and Production Shop Directors, utilizes financial systems to review actual vs estimated contract cost and to provide timely and accurate financial reports. Helps maintains accurate and up to date job cost records, master project folders and other control records necessary for processing of internal and external reports- Participate in all bid reviews, kick-off meetings and post-mortems to ensure that pertinent information is reported and analyzed in an effective manner to provide archival information for future projects and reference;- Supervise internal employees and contractors.
