The role:
We are looking for a Director of Implementation to join the team that oversees the planning and coordination required to implement both the physical and software components of the Takeoff solution while interfacing directly with clients and company technical teams at a leadership level. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the complete life-cycle of the clients’ implementation projects to include consulting on available product options, analyzing requirements to make configuration recommendations, identifying and managing project changes amp; risks, coordinating resources across internal and external teams, and ultimately delivering projects on time and within budget.

This will be exciting because you will have the chance to:
  • Develop, track and communicate detailed project plans to enable effective implementation of the Takeoff solution, leveraging internal and external inputs and collaborating across multiple Takeoff teams
  • Coordinate cross-functional efforts both internally and at retailer client organizations to ensure implementations are completed on time and on budget, and set up both Takeoff and our clients for success leading to continued expansion of client partnerships. Build influential relationships with our clients across all levels of their organizations, from the sales floor to the C-Suite
  • Maintain a high level of client satisfaction throughout the life-cycle of the project.
  • Rally internal and external resources in a fast-paced environment to ensure positive outcomes and great results while maintaining transparency and openly addressing any issues
  • Anticipate any potential delays or roadblocks (internal or external), communicate them promptly to the right audience, and help identify and implement potential solutions to minimize project risk
  • Control project scope based on a signed contract/SOW with the client and a thorough understanding of Takeoff Technologies product suite and capabilities.
  • Contribute to the development of PMO tools and processes to continuously reduce implementation cycle times, improve repeatability, and increase organizational capacity for implementations
  • Be a Subject Matter Expert in the eCommerce Grocery domain so as to effectively work within our team and with our clients, providing industry-leading solutions. Our products affect all aspects of the eGrocery lifecycle and our Implementation team ensures positive outcomes for our projects, our clients and Takeoff by utilizing your domain expertise in providing the right world-class solutions to enable client success
  • Translate client expectations and business needs into actionable project artifacts that the Takeoff Product and Engineering teams can use to configure the right solutions
  • Contribute to our Product Roadmap by communicating current and future features and needs driven by clients and the eGrocery industry to the relevant partners within our organization to ensure our solution continues to lead the domain.
Some of the experience you will bring to the table:
  • 7-10 years' experience leading projects within retail / online business development, inclusive of client-facing experience
  • Bachelor's Degree (Business, Engineering, IT or other technical degrees a plus) required; MBA preferred
