Job Description
The Providence Public Schools is hosting a career fair for all of our open teaching opportunities for SY 22-23 in Puerto Rico during the week of May 9-13, 2020. Candidates will have the opportunity to network with current School Leaders and the Providence Talent Team to learn more about the application and hiring process, bonuses for new hires in hard-to-fill role areas, educators of color loan forgiveness opportunities, and more!
All new hires can qualify for the following bonuses
Salary range for certified teachers- $44,220 - $83,351)
$5K for working in a hard-to-fill role area
$2.5K for 3+ years of experience
Up to $3K+ relocation reimbursement for educators coming from outside of MA, RI or CT
Up to $25K in loan forgiveness - educators of color may also qualify over a span of 3 years
$2.5K Commitment Bonus incentive for year 2 and $2.5K for year 3 for those who stay in district
Up to $8K ESL Certification Coverage- ESL or Bilingual reimbursement
Up to $2.5K ESL Certification Coverage-Special Educators pursing ESL or Bilingual certification

Job Specification
Bachelor's degree or on route to complete four year degree. Desireable if degree is in education, special education, math, sciences, psychology, bilingual education, ESL, etc.
